Mardi Gras Dog Parade Feb 26 2022 at 10am For over twenty years, the Krewe of Amalee has hosted this community gift, the annual Mardi Gras DeLand dog parade. Each year, the theme changes and delights the thousands of dog lovers with the costumed creativity marching down our Mainstreet. & Festival after the Dog Parade. Donation $10 Dog Costume Contest at 10am Parade starts at 11am End of Parade Festival at 12 noon The theme for our 25th annual Dog Parade is Mardi Gras! Dress your pup, float or person in purple, gold, yellow and green collars, mardi gras bead necklaces, bells, balloons, feather boas, mardi gras garland, mardi gras ribbons, mardi gras cape, etc... The Mardi Gras dogs will be marching through DeLand on Saturday, February 26, 2022 starting at 11 AM. Arrive to sign up to walk in parade at 10am https://www.delanddogparade.com/ This fun annual tradition in downtown DeLand, now in it's 25th year, features floats, bands, Mardi Gras costumes, beads, boas and parasols! The morning starts with a dog costume contest - this year's theme is "Mardi Gras" - followed by a parade and festival. Join the Krewe of Amalee and come out to watch pups and their pals as they parade in costume. Free admission and parking. The parade begins at 11 a.m. at Woodland Blvd. and Howry Ave. The festival continues from 12-4 p.m. on Georgia Ave. with music, food and vendors.
