The purpose of the Warehouse Team Member, who will work directly under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, is to ensure there is always an adequate supply of necessary equipment for technician use. This can be done by: · Servicing Extinguishers in a volume that meets production goals · Maintaining a clean and well-organized warehouse · Prepare supplies for Technician pick-up · Maintaining an accurate digital inventory record all equipment This means the function of the Warehouse Team Member is to Record, Service, Organize, and Prepare. Ability to pass International Code Council Exam for Fire Extinguisher Technician (test fee, permit fee and training will be covered by employer) Additional Job Duties · Organizing materials received in warehouse. · Organizing and tracking all company tools. · Coordinate fire extinguisher repair and replacement. · Coordinate with Warehouse Manager regarding deliveries and orders. · Maintain a clean and organized warehouse. · Abide by guidelines set forth in NFPA 10 Competencies · Communications Proficiency · Organizational Skills · Mathematical Skills · Technical Capacity · Attention to Detail · Time Management Work Environment This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and standard warehouse equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
