I recently was given a puppy for Valentine’s Day by my fiancé. Unfortunately, I had told him that I didn’t want a dog, and the puppy seems to be at least partially blind and deaf which I don’t have the time to deal with. He’s missing half of one of his ears, I don’t think he’s pure bred American bully. The people my fiancé got him from barely spoke English, so he didn’t get a lot of information. He came to us very scared and wouldn’t even play, he would just sleep. After a day or so he livened up, he LOVES to chew things, so keep that in mind. He loves to climb all over my kids when they are laying on the floor and pull on their pant legs and anything they put in front of him. He’s been doing pretty well in a crate, which we keep him in at night and sometimes during the day. He does whine when he needs out of the crate to go potty for the most part, as long as you get to him in time there should be no accidents. We’ve only had him for a couple days but we do love him, and we want him to go to a home that can properly take care of him. The reason I think he’s somewhat blind, and deaf is that he is always running into walls and seems to not be able to find us when we step away from him. He also rarely reacts to noise unless it’s very loud. I know he can see somewhat, cause when he moves his head just right it’s like he can finally see us and he runs our way.
