Five gargantuan corporations own and control almost the entire media ecosystem. These corporations push libertarian nonsense and partisan crap all day; while routinely censoring the left; censoring voices that challenge corporate power. Chris Hedges. Cornel West. Thomas Franks. Noam Chomsky. Michelle Alexander. I could go on all day listing accomplished leftists who NEVER get on the MSM. EVER. I already know some mouthbreathing righties will react with shock to this post and tell me how wrong I am. But they won't provide anything substantive because they don't know wtf they're talking about, and have been TOLD the media is liberal or leftist so many times it's become a shibboleth to them....but it isn't accurate at ALL. Our media system is corporate and right wing and censors the left routinely. We on the left need to make media reform our TOP issue or we'll never get anything else done. Have a nice day!
