Looking for like minded musicians who love performing Beatles songs. Must be able to sing them in the original key and have the ability to replicate the songs as close as possible to their original sound. Not trying to look like The Beatles necessarily, but to perform and recreate the sound and energy of the band in every way possible.Hi. I am an experienced tenor saxophonist (I have been playing for about 34 years). I am interested in finding some other musicians who are interested in playing hard bop jazz, such as from the Blue Note recordings of the 60's - think Hank Mobley, Lee Morgan, Freddie Hubbard, Joe Henderson, Kenny Dorham, Herbie Hancock, Dexter Gordon, etc. I am hoping to get together for regular jam sessions and to put together a set list so that we can play some performances. I am primarily looking to make some fun, great music to share with people and if we make money doing it, that is a icing on the cake. We are an Original Country Rock Band called American Road. We are getting ready to release our new EP this Spring. We are looking for a Lead Guitar player who can step in for our current guitar player who is leaving. No hired guns. looking for a rhythm guitar player. I play electric and 6 & 12 string acoustic. Looking for Classic Rock and/or Country. I'm semi retired and self employed so my schedule is flexible. Prefer to stay local(Johnston County, Garner, east Raleigh, west Goldsboro). Not looking to tour the East Coast, but I'm open to playing out once or twice a month. Don't care about money.
