McGuire Home Construction is a small residential remodeling company based in Eugene, OR. We are looking for a Carpenter's Assistant to assist in handling the proper installation of common construction tasks related to the remodel business. This role will be primarily assisting with remodeling kitchens and bathrooms, as well as entire homes. *MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED* We go directly into clients homes everyday. For the safety of our customers and staff Covid vaccination is required. Required skills and experience: 1-3 years experience working in the construction field Drivers License Ability to accurately read a tape measure Ability to make accurate cuts with various materials Reliable in both attendance and quality of work Some of the common task you can expect to be assisting in are as follows: -Demolition -General framing -Sheetrock hanging, tape, mud and texture -Interior and exterior painting -Cabinet installation -Tile -Flooring -Trim and baseboard installation -Door hanging and window installation -Fence and deck building -Additional tasks as needed To be considered for this position, please apply by submitting your resume and cover letter.
