Starting a regular folk/ballad/old-time/bluegrass jam session

I'm looking for like-minded individuals to start up a regular session in Miami County (Troy, Piqua, or Tipp City). What I'm envisioning is a British-style pub jam. The specific genre isn't so important as the openness and feeling that people can jump in and jam at any time, but I'm personally a fan of "folksy" artists like Kris Drever and Gillian Welch, as well as folk ballads, old-time string band music, and bluegrass. I could see this being a monthly, bi-weekly, or even weekly thing. Ideally we would find a local establishment who would be willing to host, with the assumption that the event would be a draw and increase their business.
