HANDYMAN needed!!! We are a local handyman company and have been servicing the Orange County area since 2013. We are in the process of expanding and are looking for a new technician.. Job Description and Qualifications : -Is a service minded, self starter, who is highly motivated and possesses characteristics of energy and assertiveness. -Must possess ability to work in a fast paced environment, in which customer service is always the goal. -The most important part of your job is Customer Service. Must possess Customer Service skills. -Must possess communication skills- verbal and written. -Must be able to work without supervision and move on to the next task without being told. -Must have 2+ years of experience in handyman field or construction related fields. -Must be able to use all power and manual tools. -Must be able to use table and miter saw. -Must be comfortable on ladders and second story roofs. -Must be able to lift 75 lbs. -Must have clean driving record and drivers license. Common Duties and Tasks: -Drywall Repair -Stucco Repair -Moulding installation -Painting -Carpentry -Light plumbing -Light electrical -Mechanical knowledge -Demo -Cabinetry Benefits: -$15-25 hr (base on experience) -All holidays and weekends off -Uniforms -All tools and Equipment Provided There will be a 2 part interview for each candidate, if candidate passes the first part they will be ask to come in for second part at another time: 1- In person interview with the current Supervisor 2- A 2-4 hour on the job site PAID hands-on-day' ' Hours per week: 10-19 20-29 30-39 This Job Is: Open to applicants under 18 years old, provided it is legally allowed for the job and location Work Remotely No This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture Autonomous/Independent -- enjoys working with little direction High stress tolerance -- thrives in a high-pressure environment Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
