Service Rentals & Supplies, Inc. is a locally owned and operated family business servicing the families and businesses of Hawaii for 49 years with five stores located on four islands (Maui, Kauai, Oahu, Hawaii island). We offer a wide variety of construction equipment for both homeowners and those in the construction industry. Come and join our Team! We are seeking a Rental Yard Personal to greet and assist customers with their home and construction equipment needs at our branch. Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift, FT Monday to Friday, alternating Saturdays half day Location: Kahului, Maui Remote Work: No Minimum Qualifications: Education: • High School Diploma (GED) Experience: • Preferred but not required : 2 years experience working in customer service, retail, hotel, etc. • Preferred but not required : 2 years construction equipment rental and sales experience. Skills & Abilities: • Excellent customer service skills • Able to understand invoice contracts and billings. • Able to learn to run equipment in order to do basic equipment use training for customers • Excellent verbal communications skill to effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders honestly, respectfully and sensitively • Basic problem-solving skills and ability to know when to contact Branch Manager, Service Manager, and/or mechanics for help or guidance • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail • Able to pass certified forklift and aerial lift training • Team player • Able to learn basic computer skills to open email, clock in and out daily, etc. Must have valid driver's license Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers with rental and sale of equipment and parts, conduct basic equipment orientation for customers as needed, maintain base yard, and assist service department with basic/standard maintenance of equipment. Complete administrative tasks on a timely basis. Comply with company policies, procedures, and government and regulatory agency (OSHA) laws and regulations, etc. Performs all duties and interacts with internal and external customers in a manner aligned with our Company’s Core Values by being Solvers, developing Relationships, and behaving with Integrity and Passion in a Humble and Consistent manner.
