Learn the basics of growing grapes either in your own backyard, or starting a vineyard. Also a demonstration of pruning.
Here is an opportunity to learn about growing cold hardy grapes in our Midwest climate. Whistler studied viticulture through UC Davis and Cornell University and has a plethora of knowledge to share. You will learn about the basics of starting a vineyard, whether it is a few vines in your own backyard, or a large-scale vineyard.

Join him for a brief power point presentation in the barn, then out into Whistler’s Vineyard for a demonstration of pruning with ample question-and-answer time. Cost is $25 & includes either a glass of wine or soft drink. Class size is limited and will be held on Saturday, April 23 at both 1 pm and 3 pm.
