Rose Alley pays tribute to the Jerry Garcia Band by re-imagining the classics of Jerry's very own solo band project. Hambone opens the show Celebrating the music of Jerry Garcia Band. Based in southern Maine, Rose Alley features an all-star cast of musicians including Kevin Roper on hammond organ and piano, vocalist-guitarist Aaron Nadeau. drummer Neil Carroll, Drew Wyman on base and sometimes Justin Maxwell (bass). The band re-creates and re-imagines the original and cover songs performed by Jerry Garcia and his solo band project throughout the years. This is NOT a "grateful dead tribute." Joining them on the night are soul jam purveoyors, Hambone. Hambone has shared the stage with members of Phish and the Meters and has built a strong local following that is beginning to spread throughout New England and beyond.
