Founded in 2011 by Anne (Cichra) Carollo, for the primary purpose of providing a community forum for dancers to perform and to share the joy of dance with the local community.  Gulf Coast Dance Theater provides comprehensive artistic education, that encourages excellence in the art of dance, while instilling a true love and passion for the art form.  Our goal - is to provide opportunities for dancers to perform in professional venues, to present their skills in the performance art to the community, and to make dance accessible and affordable for everyone. Membership is kept extremely low and affordable by fundraising, as well as, from our wonderful sponsors and donors.  The second goal is to bring the entertainment and joy of dance to those who may not be able to get out and attend a show.  We perform annually at St. Joseph's Childrens Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, Lake Seminole Assisted Living, Brookdale Regency Oaks, and many more. Dancers who train with Gulf Coast Dance Theater will learn to love dance while building confidence, work ethic, and discipline. If desired, dancers can use these skills and experience to pursue a career, or attend college program in dance. In addition, the dancers will make lifelong friends, have endless amounts of performance opportunities, and receive excellent mentorship from our instructors. We also believe that it is important to create strong professional relationships with our students, and once they graduate or move on, we continue to nurture and promote growth. This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and not for financial gain.
