This class, in honor of Earth Day, is geared to eight to twelve year olds, but children younger and older may also attend. Plants are important to the planet. Taking care of plants to help them survive is important. We also need to remember that we need plants more than they need us! We will explore all the ways we depend on plants through some interactive take-home projects, and visit some very important plants in the gardens.
This class is taught by Sandi Linn, Education Supervisor at Harry P. Leu Gardens and author of the Middle School /YA novel Invasive Species, available on Amazon.
