I am a 27yo (f) and have been working as a nanny for 5 years now and my current paying nanny job only requires part-time hours so I am hoping to offer free nanny or babysitting services to families who cannot afford childcare, work full-time, or are trying to go back to school. I recently moved to the NYC area and have been looking for volunteer opportunities but have not found any that offer no-cost childcare, so I thought I would start here! I was raised by a single mom who provided for me and my siblings despite being in an abusive relationship, and she has since inspired me to work with children and give them and their parents all the opportunities she worked to provide me with.
