About the Job: Landscaping Season: 3 Years Landscaping Experience Required The Landscaping Foreman will lead a small team that is responsible for the day-to-day landscaping needs of multiple apartment complexes. Foreman duties will include performing and delegating the following duties: pulling loaded trailer with mowers and other equipment to property, mowing with zero-turn mowers, trimming and edging with Stihl equipment, blowing grass and other debris off sidewalks and parking lots, fertilizing with Stihl sprayer, seasonal spring and fall clean-up of leaves and other turf debris, hedge trimming, planting flowers, and any other duties stipulated in specific property contracts. Daily work time will vary. During peak summer season, daily hours can increase. Applicant must be willing to put in required hours to maintain high quality turf control. Off Season/Winter: The Landscaping Foreman will remain employed and drawing a salary after landscaping is done (around October of 2022), performing other company duties including snow plowing, apartment cleaning, and trash hauling. Training can be provided for these duties, and no prior experience is necessary. Foreman will revert back to landscaping duty around March of 2023. Skills Needed: punctuality and attendance is very important must be able to perform professional-grade work with mowers and string trimmers must be able to pull and back up trailer reasonable communication skills required for apartment complex managers current and valid driver's license required Equipment: All mowers, trailers, sting trimmers, edgers, blowers, sprayers, hedge trimmers, and gas cans are provided. Applicants that can provide a personal truck to tow trailers are preferred. If personal truck is used, mileage compensation will be worked out depending on drive distance to each property.
