Part Time Custodian Pavitt Health and Fitness began in 2006 as a business committed to providing services that support people’s total well-being. The owners, staff, trainers, and instructors represent a group of hard-working, dedicated individuals in a collegial, team-based environment. Most staff are involved in multiple interrelated activities, making good communication among team members imperative. Position Summary: This part time position is for 2 evenings per week. The shift typically starts at 8:00pm and goes until the work is complete (typically a 5-7 hour shift). The primary responsibility is helping to maintain a clean and sanitary facility at Pavitt Health & Fitness. This includes heavy cleaning of the floors, carpets, exercise equipment, walls, mirrors, glass, wet room (which includes the pool, sauna, and hot tub area) and removing trash. Locker rooms and bathrooms are also cleaned and stocked. Qualifications Essential: Ability to:  Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy  Prioritize and organize  Multitask  Follow directions and instructions thoroughly  Understand member expectations and needs  Work with minimal supervision Desirable:  High school graduate or equivalent  Residential or industrial cleaning experience  Previous guest/member services experience Physical Abilities:  Able to lift 45lbs  Exert physical effort in transporting buckets and trash containers Attitudes to Be Exhibited:  Friendly, cooperative, positive with an optimistic attitude  Enthusiasm for the facility and for the job  Willingness to follow instructions precisely  Professional demeanor REPORTS TO: Pavitt Health & Fitness General Manager, and the Lead Custodian Pay: $17-20/hour DOE Benefits: Complimentary family membership Discounts on goods and services: food items, nutritional supplements, and personal training sessions Pavitt Health & Fitness is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
