Description

BBBSChi Representation Happy Hour We are thrilled to be continuing our Representation Happy Hour series on March 3rd, and would love for you to join! Big Brothers Big Sisters is hosting ongoing events to promote diversity amongst our Bigs (Mentors). This initiative is extremely important to our agency, and we hope you will take part to help us increase representation in our mentoring programs. Join us on Thursday to meet and network with other Bigs of color, learn more about this critical initiative and share your story. And if you have a friend or colleague who you think might be interested or who could make a great Big, we’d love for you to bring them as well. As we celebrate Black History Month and prepare to celebrate Women's History Month, please bring your stories and experiences of being a person of color in our programs and in Chicago. We are working to find new Bigs of color for Littles on our waitlist, so if you have anyone in mind, this would be the perfect place to start. Sponsored by Bears Care. Become a Big! Big Brothers Big Sisters is a one-to-one mentoring program for children 7-18. Each volunteer, or 'Big', is matched with a child, or 'Little' based on gender identity, interest and location. With two options to choose from, you can find the best fit for you to volunteer with us and make a huge impact on a child's life! Apply today: https://bbbschgo.org/volunteer
