As our world thaws, the birds return, and spring comes again. Learn who's visiting and how to live alongside our feathered friends all year. Whether you have acres of land, a backyard, an apartment balcony, or just walk from your room to your car, there are birds around you! Learn to identify by sound and sight our most common bird varieties. If you are into outdoor gardening, you may have already seen many interesting visitors. We will discuss what plants we grow that will help feed the birds (hint: birds eat bugs). When plants aren't available outdoors, learn what seed will be helpful to keep them around. Also, what birdfeeders and methods to use to keep pests like squirrels away. You'll be a proficient basic birder by your next nature walk.
