Concordia University Texas will host the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum's (NLBM) "They Were All-Stars Traveling Exhibit" throughout February. Concordia University Texas will host the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum's (NLBM) "They Were All Stars Traveling Exhibit" throughout February to recognize Black History Month. The exhibit opens to the public on Saturday, February 26 from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. in Cedel Hall at Concordia University Texas. The NLBM covers momentous occasions, including Jackie Robinson's breaking of the color barrier with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947 and the integration of the Boston Red Sox in 1959, the last team to do so. Between this time period, 20 Negro League players joined the Majors and became All-Stars. The exhibit includes rare photos, biographical sketches, and other artifacts designed to illustrate the immediate impact that Negro Leagues had on Major League Baseball.
