The HJSA conference hosts national and regional expert speakers in all areas of system involved youth. This annual conference is put on by a group of dedicated advocates for juvenile justice training in Nebraska. We bring in national and regional experts on subject matter related to all areas of system involved youth including mental health and substance use disorders, gangs, human trafficking, trauma, and much more. Training the Heartland's dedicated juvenile advocates, therapists, probation and diversion officers, detention and court employees is our passion! We want the absolute best for our youth and so we seek out experts to supply the best CEU training opportunities we can get! Come join us as we engage in authentic and diverse training opportunities at the Hilton in Omaha's historic Old Market. The mission of the Heartland Juvenile Services Association is to enable juvenile service providers, members of the justice system and personnel of juvenile detention centers, correctional facilities, staff secure programs, group homes, emergency shelters and other facilities/institutions throughout the heartland region of the United States to join together in mutual efforts to strengthen and improve residential and community-based services for youth and their families through the implementation of best practices.
