THE STUDENT VOICE RALLY 2022 This event will give students an opportunity to share their voice with the lawmakers who make decisions that affect students everyday. It will give lawmakers a direct connection to young people and a better understanding of education issues. More importantly, this is an incredible opportunity for Iowa students. This rally is on a school day, but it will provide an authentic learning experience about how government works and how students can be a part of it in a way that can't be taught in a government classroom. Students will also learn from each other by meeting their peers from throughout the state that might have a different perspective than them.   If you're interested in going to The Rally, but don't know how to get there or if you can miss a day of school, ask a teacher to chaperone a group for a field trip! We already have the date, time and activities planned out, you just need to grab a teacher (maybe a government, civics or social science teacher) and ask them to request a field trip.
