Hola todes! Please support MEChA in our movie screening fundraiser MEChA de SDSU has consistently been committed to supporting our community in and outside the institution. Since the pandemic, we have not held a High School Conference after 2019 and are in need of rebuilding our foundation. The profit from this event will go directly to a scholarship we plan on giving for our next High School Conference. Our goal is to raise $500 for this scholarship. We are still tentative on an exact date of our next high school conference because of the pandemic and our capacity, but currently planning ahead for 2023 school year! Las Sandinistas is a film about the Sandinista movement in Nicaragua. The film touches upon U.S. imperialism effects on the country as well as feminist resistance within the male dominated movement.
