Description

A safe, inviting space for women to have real conversations about life's challenges, overcoming them and building a successful life! You ever go through things in life and feel alone? You ever want to talk about things you experience but fear being judged for your situation? If so, I want to share a few things with you. One, you aren't the only one who has faced adversities in life. Two, you will overcome! You're past circumstances or present situation doesn't determine your future and who you have the potential to become. If you're tired of wondering how you can move past your current state whether it be physically, emotionally, or mentally then this is the event for you! We have a panel of women who have overcome so much in life to become the successful women that they are today and they're ready to share with you some of the things that helped them to overcome and succeed. Tina Torres- Founder of She Did That Community Advocate Foundation where she spreads awareness about intimate partner violence and advocates in many different ways for domestic violence survivors. Ebony English- Sobriety Lifestyle influencer and published author of Saved, Sober, & Sitting Pretty where she shares her intimate journey of transitioning from substance abuse to a woman of substance. Naida Rutherford- History maker and fashion enthusiast. Naida is the first female, person of color, medical professional Corner in Richland County. She loves to help make women feel good and show them the many ways they can express themselves through what they wear at an affordable price. Ticket price includes heavy d'oeuvres & cocktails! Sharell also known as "Rell" is a mother of 2, Army Veteran, Relator, and Philanthropist. She once served as the President of Carolina Women for Change and Empowerment, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a platform for local women to come together and become informed philanthropist and community volunteers as well as served as a board member for the organization. Growing up less fortunate as well as being a single mother presented her with many adversities. The challenges she faced in life along with her ability to overcome those adversities fueled her philanthropic spirit and desire to help those in need. She credits overcoming those adversities to maintaining a positive mindset through it all and never losing sight of the goals she wanted to accomplish. Sharell's desire is to help other women overcome adversities and create the life they want to live.
