Press release from the Levittown Public Schools: February 17, 2022 Students participated in an assembly and planning session to design how the garden would look. In November, staff and students from the entire building helped get the ground ready to plant in the spring. Once the warmer weather hits in the spring, students will start planting. With the help of students, staff, and the community, the garden will be cared for throughout the summer and work will begin again in the fall. At the Feb. 9 Board of Education meeting, East Broadway students presented the progress of the Native Garden to families and administrators.
