Description
Meet Miss Willow.
She is seeking new pastures..
Willow is amazing under saddle. Zero buck or rear.
She likes trails.
Willow has a few quirks, and needs a confident person.
She is absolutely NOT for beginners. Please read this in it's entirety.
Willow was born May 2004.
She is extremely herd bound, which is very strange as she has not really integrated with our horses, they don't seem to like her much. She is low man and very passive with other horses.
When I say herd bound..I mean it. She screams, throws herself around woth zero regard for what or who is near her. She will try to untie herself or break the rope. I believe she has anxiety. When walking her she just wants to constantly graze.
She stands well for the farrier and is happy barefoot. She behaves well under saddle, zero buck, zero rear. She has not offered to bite or kick.
She loads, but is not quiet in the trailer.
She does not push fences or have any cribbing issues. She is the first to call out and greet her people.
My firm belief is she needs to be an only horse, with someone who is very firm, but gentle, and can work through her anxiety and crappy ground manners. OR a pasture pet companion for a lonely horse.
We have tried, unfortunately, she is not safe ON THE GROUND, for children, or really even myself. She will knock you over or run into you if she is tied or thinks you might leave her all alone.
She was just given all her vaccines, microchipped and had her teeth floated on Feb 3, 2022. No special diet.
We will be very selective. She deserves a good life.
