Looking to rehome our sweet female American Bulldog/Pitbull mix

Hello and thank you for reading! It's with a heavy heart that I have to write this but we have to rehome our pup Leia. She's been in our home for a little over a year and due to relationship, financial and relocation incidents, it's been difficult to give her the life she deserves. We took her in from a friend who was about to send her to the shelter because their son had severe allergies to her. Leia is about 7 years old and still very full of life. She's spade and updated with all her shots. She isn't compatible with cats or larger dogs but has gotten comfortable with little dogs. Leia is absolutely wonderful with children and our toddler son loves to be around her and even when he gets too much, Leia just simply moves away, never showing any aggression. Being an American Bulldog/Pitbull, she does have some skin issues. We did an allergy test and found out that she was allergic to milk, chicken and dust mites. As long as she's fed a novelty meat like rabbit or kangaroo (which is what she eats now) her skin issues seem to be very mild. She does produce an excess amount of yeast but that's controllable by weekly medicated baths and a clean bed. Leia adores human beings and has never even come close to biting anyone. Sometimes she does bark at unfamiliar faces but as soon as they present themselves she becomes comfortable. We're looking to rehome her with a loving family or individual that has a yard or can take her on long walks. We will provide a large Tempur-Pedic bed with any food that we have remaining as well as toys, leash, treats and other accessories that we have for her. A rehoming fee of $50 and one visit with her to your home will be enough for us to know she's going to a good home and she'll be yours.
