Celebrate Shakespeare’s 458th birthday on Saturday, 4/23! We'll enjoy an author talk, cupcakes, crafts, and discounts on great reads. In celebration of Shakespeare’s 458th birthday on Saturday, 4/23, Booksweet is throwing a party for the Bard!  Stop by for some – or all! – of the festivities listed below: 10 am-?: B-Day Cupcakes! The first 50 readers in the shop will get a delicious b-day cupcake from our amazing neighbors, Cakes by Rubina – FREE with any Booksweet purchase. 10 am-noon [Drop-In]: Masquerade Mask Creation Station Romeo and Juliet met at a masquerade ball. Who will you meet in your masquerade mask? Come make one and find out in this drop-in activity for thespians of all ages. 1-2 pm: Shakespeare Adaptations - Author Talk Mya L. Gosling, author of the beloved The Complete Works of Shakespeare In Three Panels Each and A Stick Figure MacBeth in conversation with Booksweet co-owner Shaun Manning, author of Macbeth: The Red King.  All Day Long: Shop Shakespeare Adaptations!
