The School Board approved the teacher's retirement request after the incident. The retirement of the anonymous teacher starts on June 2 but they will take sick leave until then. The five authors announced were Brad Meltzer, Angeline Boulley, Amanda Montell, Lauren Groff, Jason Mott, and an additional local author panel. These events will take place between March and May.
