MARIN COUNTY, CA — A motorcyclist was killed in a solo crash on Highway 101 Thursday morning, the California Highway Patrol said. Authorities are on the scene investigating the crash reported before 7 a.m. on northbound Highway 101, south of the Robin Williams Tunnel, CHP officer Darrel Horner told Patch. Three lanes of traffic were closed shortly afterward and remained closed as of 9 a.m. with no estimate for their reopening, Horner said. The crash has backed up traffic on the Golden Gate Bridge all the way to San Francisco, according to Google maps. This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
