TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park's annual beer and wine festival is returning this year after being cancelled due to rising COVID-19 cases last spring, village officials said. While few details have been announced, Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce officials told Patch the Brew&Vine festival is scheduled to take place Saturday, April 9. During the one-day festival, residents over 21 years old can sample craft beer, wine and food from local vendors. This year, a spokeswoman said in a news release, the festivities will be accompanied by live music. Tickets will be on sale soon for the event which has already reserved a spot at the Tinley Park Convention Center. Designated driver tickets will also be sold separately for those who don't wish to drink alcohol at the tasting. "As the event draws near, the requirements the event must follow may change," read a statement on the Brew&Vine website. "For up-to-date requirements, please see the State or County agency websites or contact the Chamber of Commerce office."
