NEW LENOX, IL — A 14-year-old boy was charged with criminal damage to property following acts of vandalism Jan. 22 that were caught on security footage at Lincoln-Way Central High School in New Lenox, according to the Will County Sheriff's Office. A maintenance supervisor told Sheriff's deputies that one restroom had two soap dispensers spilled onto the floor and a garbage can on top of a toilet causing the motion sensor to continuously flush, according to WCSO. Another bathroom also had two soap dispensers open with the soap cartridges on the ground, multiple tampons on the ground, and a hand sanitizer dispenser inside a toilet, according to WCSO. Ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise dispensers in the cafeteria were squirted out and smeared around, according to WCSO. The 14-year-old boy, who is not a student at Lincoln-Way Central, was inside the school over the weekend of Jan. 22 while a wrestling meet was going on, according to WCSO.
