WOODBURY, MN — Three schools in Woodbury were removed Thursday from the Minnesota Department of Health's weekly list of facilities with recent COVID-19 outbreaks. Woodbury Middle School, Woodbury High School and East Ridge High School were taken off Thursday's list, which included five other schools in the city: Brookview ElementarySaint Ambrose Catholic SchoolWoodbury Leadership AcademyNew Life AcademyMath & Science Academy Thursday's outbreak list included 19 Washington County schools, five fewer than last week. The total number of Minnesota schools on the list grew from 598 last week to 609 on Thursday. Officials at South Washington County Schools — which operates Woodbury Middle School, Woodbury High School and East Ridge High School — are set to lift a mask mandate Feb. 23 after a significant drop in coronavirus cases in the district. Students and staff must continue to wear masks on buses, officials said. Masks are also required for students, staff and visitors in pre-k, preschool and early childhood family education programs.
