DARIEN, IL — Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports: Home burglary A home in the 1500 block of Lakeview Drive was burglarized between 4:30 a.m. Feb. 9 and noon Feb. 10. Someone removed a canvas patio chair from the living room. The loss was estimated at $25. Converter thefts A catalytic converter was stolen from a car overnight Feb. 7 in a parking lot in the 7400 block of Brookdale Drive. The loss was estimated at $800. Another converter was stolen overnight Feb. 10 in a parking lot in the 1500 block of Lakeview Drive. It was worth $2,000. Yet another was stolen overnight Feb. 10 in the 1100 block of Chalet Drive. It was valued at $2,000. Warrant Rashaad Chamberlain, 24, of Hillside, was arrested about 4:30 a.m. Feb. 7 on a DeKalb County warrant charging resisting officers. He was stopped for front tinted windows. He was released and given a date to appear in court. DUI Barbara Tanner, 61, of Downers Grove, was arrested about 9 p.m. Friday on charges of DUI and speeding. She was stopped after an officer saw her speeding and swerving. She was released and given a date to appear in court. Driving violations Adel Alsoubani, 43, of Darien, was cited about 10:30 a.m. Feb. 10 on charges of driving with a suspended license and failure to yield turning left. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt.
