Wednesday's wet weather led to a lakeshore flood advisory for Northern Cook, Lake and Central Cook counties until midnight Thursday. Flooding is likely on property along the lakeshore, including parts of the Chicago bike path, and flooding of some low-lying roads is possible. Freezing spray could also lead to ice accumulation on surfaces near the lake. The southern portions of the Chicago area are expected to receive higher snow totals.
