Emergency Bridge Hole Repair Closes Lane On I-77

IREDELL COUNTY, NC — The North Carolina Department of Transportation has issued a travel alert Thursday for a section of Interstate 77 for an emergency pothole repair. NCDOT wants people to be careful on I-77 south between Tomlin Mill Road and Olin Road while crews repair a hole in the bridge over Patterson Creek. They do expect delays and advise people that one lane will be closed most of Thursday. The work is expected to be completed by the end of Thursday.
