A Grand Rapids man was sentenced to prison this week and will have to pay more than $41,000 in damage for his actions during a 2020 riot. He damaged a ticket dispenser and payment machine during the riot. (WZZM13.com) 2. Nurses from Spectrum Health plead for patient civility and understanding in response to an increase in violence toward them. Nurses have reported being threatened physically and harassed, in addition to having their credentials called into question. (MLive.com) 3. Two Grand Rapids teens were chosen to design Black History Month apparel for clothing store Meijer. The apparel will be sold at more than 250 Meijer stores across the midwest.
