Here are the top three stories in Phoenix today: Phoenix police have released a short clip from the initial interaction with the man suspected of shooting five Phoenix police officers last Friday and wounding four more. The video contains content disturbing content but can be seen at the link. The Phoenix Police Department also has promised to release a "critical incident briefing" video within 14 days of the shooting, in line with department protocol. (Phoenix Patch) An Arizona State University Law alum has committed to the largest estate gift in the school's history. James McAnally and his wife, Anne McAnally's estate gift of $4.5 million will fund student scholarships to support the next generation of lawyers. (ASU News Now) A fast-casual chicken restaurant called Big Chicken is set to open 12 franchise locations in the Phoenix area. Big Chicken, owned by basketball star Shaquille O'Neal, is hoping to open its first location open by the end of the year.
