Description
At the end of 2021, an AZ hotel gave me permission to park my car in their lot while I travelled. Manager entered information in their book. Upon my return 12/5/21, my car was not in their parking lot. Hotel told me they absolutely would not have had my car towed and to call 911. Hotel told me my car was stolen. Police came, ran plates and found hotel had had my car towed. A private tow from private property that did not include any police or fire department officers. Towing company badly damaged my car such that my car will be totaled. Towing company did not follow AZ Abandoned Vehicle laws - Title 28 Chapter 11. They did not do the required state filings. Nobody notified me that my vehicle had been towed or was in anyone else's possession other than in the hotel's. ADOT confirmed in conversation and in writing that my vehicle had not undergone the AZ Abandoned Vehicle Laws. In addition to the obvious damage to car, the towing company had keys made to my car to which they were not entitled as they had not made the necessary state filings. They changed the ignition such that my keys would not start the car. Fraudulently charged me for all fees including Title - which ADOT confirmed had never been applied for. Extensive personal injury, property damage, fraud and crime (trespassing/attempted theft or burglary/violation of my privacy, etc.... I have already established the AZ statute violations with ADOT. Question whether tracking devices or other were put on my car. I feel very trespassed upon and violated.
