MOORESVILLE, NC -- Early in-person voting for the Nov. 3 election begins Thursday, Oct. 15 in Iredell County and throughout North Carolina, and includes races for offices ranging from President and Vice President to local races, such as Board of Education and Board of Commissioners. During the early voting period, absentee voters may also deliver their completed mail-in ballots to an election official at early voting sites. The absentee ballots will then be securely delivered to the Iredell County Board of Elections. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Where do I go to vote?There are six early voting locations in Iredell County for the Nov. 3 General Election. Sites are open from 8 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Oct., 17 and Oct. 24; and 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Oct. 31. Iredell early voting sites include: Board of Elections, 203 Stockton Street, Statesville War Memorial, 220 N. Same-day registrants must attest to their voting eligibility by completing a voter registration application, and provide proof of residency through showing one of the following: a North Carolina driver's license; a government-issued identification; a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck or other government document showing the voter's name and address; or a current college/university photo identification card with proof of campus habitation.
