Restoration Technician (Please include your resume You will be leading a crew on the Mitigation team and installing trim, painting, constructing, and installing structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, studs, and drywall on our Restoration team. This is a ground floor opportunity to enter the restoration industry. Includes but not limited to demolition of walls, floors, removal of baseboard, Etc. -Positioning and holding timbers, lumber, or paneling in place for fastening or cutting. -Cleaning work areas, machines, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site. -Selecting tools, preparing our vehicles, equipment, and/or materials from storage and transport items to work site. -Cutting timbers, lumber and/or paneling to specified dimensions, and drilling holes in timbers or lumber. -Provide support to co-workers Qualifications: -Eagerness and willingness to learn, previous construction experience strongly preferred. -Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation. -Certifications are not required but preferred: -WTR – Water Damage Restoration Technician -ASD – Applied Structural Drying Technician -Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, crawling and crouching is required. -Express or exchange ideas with others quickly, receive and act on detailed information given. -For safety reasons, respirators, which are used in certain situations, must be able to seal to your face -Use visual acuity to perform detail-oriented activities -Be exposed to various inside and outside working conditions: The change of environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating. -High standard of integrity and professionalism. -Exceptional customer service ability
