Interviewing For Business Partner - Schmidty’s Kettle Corn
Jobs
Baltimore MD
Description
Interviewing for potential business partner My business this year is expanding. I’m debating hiring a manager or a potential business partner than can bring things to the table to help me grow my business. I am disabled. This position for me isn’t about money. As in. If the trust was there. I’d be up to giving a percentage of some of my business away if said person proved themselves. Like. An event for example. Doing a 30/70 split or if we do events together a 50/50 split after supplies. I currently do 6 farmers markets a week and they’re growing but would like someone that can equally represent my business while I do the markets or we switch off where one event I do markets and another event you do you markets so we both can make money. For example. This last weekend I was at a motorcycle show and made $2,000 for 2 days. Some things I’m looking for for this position. If you think you’re a good fit. Please reach out to me. 1) If you have a vehicle for towing equipment, and or a trailer, and have the ability to hand pop kettle corn and set up a kettle corn booth. It’s a very physical job. I hand pop each batch with a wooden paddle. 2) Have paperwork and organizational skills. I have to do everything myself and having a learning disability is making it difficult to get certain things completed and have a good grasp at filling out forms online and networking. 3) Have availability part time or full time. If you’re free on the weekends and we can work together on events plan ahead of time, not cancel, and not back out. Etc. etc. events are weather dependent so if it snows or rains for example we don’t go out. 4) Have excellent customer service, has sales experience, has a professional attitude while at work, and is authentic. Customer service is how I’ve survived for 5 years. And if you’re a salesperson you should be able to sell me a paper cup. Lastly 5) Consistency. Consistency Consistency. Being there to the best of your ability when you say you’ll be there with exception. Like. Bad weather. But. Being there 100% for your customers is how you grow your business. If this is you. You’ll train with me for 1 year. Part time or full time. You’ll earn a regular wage of $15 and tips and then if we get along after this we will compromise on an agreement.
