Silva Linings is looking to hire skilled carpenters with experience in the following for in home client services and home improvement jobs. *wood trim carpentry *carpet work *carry lumber *frame walls, moulding, caulking *use a saw, miter saw and jigs Specifically, the Carpenter will: * Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed * Be able to read sketches, drawings and blueprints to fully grasp requirements * Cutting, shaping and smoothing lumber and other material according to measurements * Installing and repairing new and old builds * Maintain a professional and clean appearance while on our jobs and in our customer's homes * Be a responsible and friendly point of contact for homeowners while on the job * Ensure all job kits, materials, tools, and paperwork are complete prior to job site arrival * Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor * Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures * Lead by example and generate positive customer reviews on all installations * Be willing and able to accept feedback, direction, and instruction A successful candidate should have at least 3 years' experience in the following fields: * Overall Carpentry * Woodwork * Detailed Painting * Extensive knowledge of power tools, including skill saw, miter saw and jigs Interested candidates, please submit a resume, samples of your work and preferred hourly pay. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour The Professional Carpenter/Painting position requires demonstrated Carpentry experience, reliability, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
