I’m seeking any information regarding a hit and run accident that happened at approximately 7:25 AM Thursday February 17 in the south bound lane in Lynnfield near exit 61. The traffic in the lane stopped suddenly and I was driving in a Nissan NV van with fire Equipment logo’s on it. I wasn’t going to be able to stop in time so I swerved to the left between the jersey barrier and the car in front of me I avoided hitting their car but I was hit from behind. The vehicle that hit me was a lip stick red colored suv a 2015- 2020 Toyota or Nissan (possibly a Versa) when I was getting out they took off they never bothered to check if anyone was injured and I was unable to get their plate number.
