The Hitchin' Post RV Park & Motel will be accepting applications and resumes in person at our motel office starting February 16, 2022 from the hours of 9am to 5pm for the maintenance position opening. Must have some maintenance experience, be a self starter and motivated to work. Please do not call the office as it is very busy.
EXAMPLES OF WORK
1. Operate mowers, tractors, vehicles and equipment;
2. Utilize a variety of hand and power tools in park landscape maintenance work;
3. Assist in routine maintenance of such equipment;
4. Lite plumbing and electric repairs
5. Operate a weed eater, mower and loader or other equipment as necessary.
6. Prepare and maintain, swimming pool and related facilities.
7. Clean restrooms and pick up litter around park.
8. Perform a variety of duties in the maintenance and repair of the irrigation system;
9. Water, mow, weed trimming and fertilize trees and grass areas.
10.Prune trees and shrubs; plant trees, flowers and shrubs; rake leaves and clean walks and other facilities.
11.Perform unskilled and semi-skilled tasks involving the maintenance, construction and repair of park and recreational facilities.
12.Apply herbicides, fungicides and pesticides safely.
13.Maintain records of fertilizers and chemicals used;
14.Perform manual labor including lifting heavy weights, stooping, bending and twisting.
15.May assist in other sections of the department as necessary.
16.Perform other such duties as may be assigned.
