Shade is a very sweet boy that needs a forever home. I'd love to keep him, but due to a large work load which isn't going to lighten up anytime soon, I unfortunately no longer have the time to take care of a pet. I'm usually also gone on the weekends, while he's left alone, and I'm afraid he's lonely. As much as I'm going to miss this little guy, it's more important to me that he's happy in the long term, and thriving. He's a great addition to any loving household. He's a great cat, and friendly, though a little shy at first. Once he gets used to you, he'll like to hang out on your shoulders sometimes, will roll on his back for gentle tummy rubs (he's one of those rare types that won't maul you when you touch the sacred belly hair). He's good with kids and fine with other cats (again, a bit shy at first), with a good temperament, and definitely a goofball. He even seems fine with dogs too, as long as he has time to sort of get to know them. He loves to play, and would prefer a more lively household, or at least someone who is able to give him more attention. He loves to go for walks, and yes, he is mostly trained to go on a leash (I can send you a couple of videos). He understands the words "Go out" and "Treat". He loves taking naps under covers and blankets, loves crinkly things and a bit of catnip, though his chosen toy is a shoelace. Yes, he certainly has other toys, yet remains loyal to the shoelace. Shade is healthy, neutered, has his shots, and is 2 years old. He will require a re-homing fee, but will come with a boodle of cat stuff (shoelace included), from blankets to a bed, toys, treats, a litterbox, and a little kittie drinking fountain (his preferred source of hydration).
