The Position
This position would be part of our Landscape Management team in the Vail Valley area. The ideal candidate will be customer centric, possess strong problem-solving skill, comfortable with presenting to clients, excels at contract administration and working with the Landscape Maintenance employees. A successful Account Manager will be highly organized, and detail oriented for record keeping. SHC’s clientele expect and desire a premier level of expertise & customer service.
Responsibilities
· Customer follow-up and follow-through to maintain a positive customer relationship
· Maintain customer renewal
· Manage job costs, budget goals and business objective
· Review contracts and change order frequently to ensure all contracts are current
· Attend all necessary field staff meetings for reviews, training, and scheduling; communicate with all staff members to provide job progress
· Coordinate training of crew members on technical skills and general field operational procedures
· Great Customer relationship builder creating satisfied customers
· Coordinate jobs with other departments
· Maintain high standards through quality assurance
· Proficient knowledge in horticulture, irrigation, seasonal colors, plant health, etc
· Stay current with industry trends
· Excellent communication both verbally & written ~ dual language is a plus
Qualifications & Experience
· High School diploma required; Bachelors preferred
· 2-3 years of related industry experience
· Energetic self-starter who can demonstrate initiative
· Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with executive management & project personnel
· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and scheduling software
