HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Every parent has been there at some point — bent over in the back seat, pushing fingers in seat creases searching for latch points while bouncing up and down and pulling at various straps to lash down a car seat. Given the precious cargo, it's important to make sure car seats are properly installed. Huntersville Police have a series of community events offering free inspections and installation of car seats. Throughout all of 2020, HPD will offer a Child Safety Seat Check twice a month at Huntersville Fire Station 4, located at 8826 McIlwaine Road.
