FIELD SURVEYOR/DATA COLLECTION Summary: We specialize in transit market research, which means we collect data from passengers in all capacities. The primary responsibility of the Surveyor is to administer surveys to passengers riding the transit system. Other survey includes recording passengers where they boarded and where they get off. The Surveyor is the most visible member during the data collection process to the general public. Therefore, it is extremely important that the Surveyor present a professional image while conducting interviews, or other data collections services. Surveyors must be able to: Conducting in-person intercept surveys Administering research questionnaires that include skip patterns, ranking, scaling, and open-ended questions Interpreting participant answers and probing for accurate and detailed responses Utilizing electronic devices (such as iPads) for survey data collection Ability to adjust and adhere to pandemic related norms, such as keeping social distance, wear masks, wipe iPads before handing over to each participant Must possess the following: Available to work any shift Have transportation and driver’s license Punctual/Dependable Follows instruction well Arrive to work on time Professional and responsible Handle problems well Displays good work attitude Must have a phone Dress Properly (no sagging pants & baseball caps) Reports to: Field Supervisor. Works closely with Field Supervisor, Task Manager.  Surveyors are required to work hours assigned which include weekdays and weekends. We pay well above minimum wage!!!!
