SANDY SPRINGS, GA — A nurse was left with minor injuries Friday morning after a driver accidentally drove into the Eye Surgery Center of Georgia building in Sandy Springs. Police told Patch an elderly woman was navigating her car into a parking space around 7:30 a.m. Friday when she accidentally accelerated instead of breaking, launching her car into the building. Sandy Springs police said the accident is believed to be accidental, and no charges were filed. No other information was immediately available.
