If you are interested in working for us, please see below for an overview of the position, check out our website, and click on the following link to apply online: Summary: The primary responsibility of a Fitter is to safely and properly install/remove VPS rental equipment, which include steel panels that are placed on windows, doors, etc. This requires the Fitter to be able to work at height, have a basic understanding of hand tools, and be able to lift up to 100 pounds on a continuous basis. VPS is a service business and employees are highly visible to customers. Therefore, the Fitter must always act responsibly and demonstrate a customer service attitude. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include: - Use proper company procedures for installing/removing, servicing, transporting and storing all VPS equipment - Accurately use measuring tools to ensure that the correct equipment is installed - Load/unload company trucks and vans as directed by the TL/SCM - Accurately record equipment installed/removed on Job-Sheet/Worksheet Competencies Include: - Working knowledge of the construction, landscaping, and/or maintenance fields - Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history/record Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience in construction, maintenance, and/or landscaping EOE/Minority/Female/Disabled/Veteran
